This piece was inspired by a giant moth that I found on the road while hiking down from a temple in Chiang Mai. It looked tired, likely at the end of its short but beautiful life, and it calmly allowed us to pick it up from the pavement and move it to a patch of vegetation. It made me feel equal parts sad and awed. I wanted to print it with a sense of movement and air behind it to prolong its life a little longer and celebrate its beauty, immortalized on paper.
