In August of 2024 I visited my favorite place in Northern California for a few days where I caught the Perseids meteor shower. This cabin is a very special place to me, perched over a small pond, surrounded by tall grasses and backed by hills filled with old trees. At night, the bullfrogs sing (ok, croak) but even they fell silent to in awe of the meteor shower and the moon.
