Variable edition of 9 drypoint and chine-collé original print. Printed on hand-made Japanese paper with natural fibers and backed with Fabriano 300gsm paper (100% cotton, archival quality). Hand-torn deckled edge. Available in two color variants: blue-black ink or black ink. Note that due to the very manual hand-wiping process of the copper plate (which produces a lustrous background plate-tone) as well as the natural plant fibers in the paper, each print has variations. Signed, numbered, and embossed using the PigPrints studio chop where it was created in Milan. Unframed.

Back in June I was pondering on the creative process and one evening began to visualize it as a woman wrestling a giant clam open. As the summer turned to fall and I fell into a nice creative groove, the image lost the female wrestler and I began to look upon the clam as its own proud organism. It’s perfectly happy (as they say) so long as no one is rudely trying to pry it open.
