This one-of-a-kind variable edition print consists of a free-hand monotype under-layer with a hand-carved linoleum "brushstroke" 3D embossed overlay. Within this very limited variable edition of five, each color-way is singular. This unique technique was developed by the artist over a period of six intense months of trial and error in her Los Angeles studio. Once the edition sells out, it's gone for good.
About the 'Brushstroke' Series: carved gestures are overlayed onto painterly monotype layers—fragments of color and form revealed like memories breaking through. Brushing past the haze of everyday life, these pieces reach for vivid, felt moments—an emotional texture, a flicker of memory—made visible through ink, pressure, and time.
